An orchestra needs to listen and communicate well to achieve its goals. Everyone plays a unique role which, when combined with the whole group, creates the synergy (music) within an organisation. We need to respect each other and to give each other space in order to be able to collaborate from a position of trust.
We need the bass drums to provide the backbone of the music/company, we need the solo players to express themselves, improvisation is a key component of innovation! The music we produce can often be mapped back to how we can work together to build upon existing strengths, working toward greater efficiency and cohesion in everyday practices. What is the rhythm of your company? What is the melody of success?
