The pegasus community
Updated: 01 October, 2007
In this ever – changing world, we must as humans be looking at the long term, sustainability of our race and of other life around us. World of Rhythm’s charity – The Pegasus project, started as a means to help the less fortunate and destitute children of the world. Now the focus is to create eco sustainability alongside the original plan. Pegasus is working hard to build a community where everyone including the children is well aware of this need to be self- reliant. The plan is to buy enough land to grow crops and to also look at ways of long term support options for the children who as they grow, will need ways of aquiring income in a country in which many young people don’t have many opportunities and look for work abroad. This is not sustaining the country or the planet with all the skilled and academic leaving the country in droves in order to find employment. We must find ways of using what is there, using nature and their fragile eco-diversity to create a positive future for them.
