World of Rhythm Romania
In March 2008, World of Rhythm completed a successful series of sessions Vodaphone Romania’s One Future programme launch, working with over 400 Leaders. The ‘Big Kick Off’ was the start of a one and a half year Leadership Development programme, incorporating many different aspects of Leadership including communicating with impact, situational leadership, strategic Leadership & personal branding.
World of Rhythm delivered their sessions, using the rhythm orchestra as the main metaphor for leadership in action. Participants played African drums, percussion & boomwhackers and also many had the chance to conduct / lead the orchestra themselves. This was combined with an ongoing dialogue with the teams around their understanding of ‘what makes a good leader?’ Leaders were challenged in a completely new way; to be creative from the middle of a drum circle. The results were amazing as challenges were overcome and it became a real celebration of different styles of leadership & personality. The sessions also explored different leadership qualities such as Vision, Integrity,communication and passion.
