Tribal Earth

Tribal Earth camps were started in 1997. They provide a place for families to develop friendships and to relax in locations of natural beauty. It is with great pleasure that we are, once again, able to offer the Tribal Earth experience to everyone through World of Rhythm. We have a strong team of committed staff to provide a safe, supportive, fun event for all.

Last year's camp, was at the Pestalozzi Estate, near Hastings, East Sussex. The site, set in acres of tranquil woodland, provided the perfect atmosphere for camping.

Tribal Family, Tribal Drums

The ancient art of drumming through which we can explore the rhythms of Africa, India, the Middle East and South America in a "homemade" Samba Procession!

The Voices of Rhythm

Songs from Africa, Sacred chants, Chi-gung, Yoga and Meditation.

Tribal Nights

As evening draws in, the spectacular Flamin' Gorgeous fire shows, great bands and hot dancing raise the temperature of the night. Sitting by campfires beneath a star-filled sky and playing acoustic guitars — Tribal nights to remember.

Rhythm Sticks

Of course, this could only mean Sunday morning football and other community games!

Other Tribal Treats

The Moonbeams cafe, beautifully decorated, serves good food to keep the energy levels up. There are excellent facilities on site too - toilets, hot showers, refreshing sauna space with a healing area, Indian head massage, reflexology and other therapies to keep body and soul well attuned.

Children's Area

Our wonderful team of youth workers provide endless games and entertainment for the children, including a theatre for any aspiring actors and actresses amongst them!

For the more athletic kids, we have trampolines, gyro-scope, climbing frames and ball games. From sunrise to sunset, the children have every opportunity to make new friends and have a great time.

Between what we feel and often fail to express, World of Rhythm places links in a chain of fantastic settings though music and laughter. Tribal Earth creates a great community and gives us back a little time to really be ourselves. A percentage of profits from all Tribal Earth events will be given to the Pegasus Children's Project, for housing, education, clothing and music for children in Nepal.
