A busy Spring season for World of Rhythm
Updated: 19 March, 2008
Its been an energetic time for World of Rhythm as the new spring season has brought many events for our busiest March ever!
- A week of Leadership events in Romania, kicked off Vodaphone’s new “one Future” 18 month Leadership program. Delegates had the chance to be the conductors of a dynamic rhythm orchestra to help develop and sharpen their leadership skills. Over 400 participants went through the program and we had some incredible feedback. Drumming in Corporate business is a new activity in Romania and teams are finding it a fresh exciting new way of connecting with one another.
- Another company also launching a new leadership program are JTI and World of Rhythm will be running a similar program with over 150 participants.
- Shell Learning UK enjoyed a musical team building activity, creating pieces of music, learning to communicate in a non-verbal way. Everyone had lots of fun playing instruments from around the world, even if at first they didn’t believe they had a musical bone in their body!
- A similar session was run for 16 participants from Npower looking to improve communication skills through drums & percussion.
- World of Rhythm also facilitated opening ice breaker & energizers at conferences for Microsoft, KEYS and the Department of Pensions all used to great effect.
- On the CSR front, we have developed our new dome building project which will commence in March. Delegates will get the chance to give something back to schools in the UK while at the same time raising money for our charity in Nepal, the Pegasus Project for street children. The project, which supports 73 children on our own land in the Kathmandu valley is about to set up Solar power & Bio gas for the community. More can be read on our CSR page.
With all these events going on, we are delighted to be offering uplifting experiences as although each event presents a different challenge, participants always walk away inspired and happy – what more can we ask for?
Best wishes
