World of Rhythm offer a fresh perspective on what it means to be a leader in the 21st century, employing an unusual mix of new and ancient techniques. We have a proven track record in working with leaders from a wide range of organisations, such as the Leadership Programme at Henley Management College, Vodafone and Shell.
Case Study: Vodafone Romania – One Future Program
As part of an 18 month Leadership Development programme, we worked with 400 of Vodafone Romania’s top leaders. Our brief was to deliver an inspiring series of creative sessions, which challenged delegates outside of their comfort zone. Through a mixture of musical workshops, ongoing dialogue around key themes and 360 feedback, participants were encouraged to explore their leadership styles through conducting a Rhythm Orchestra comprised of their colleagues. This enabled them to examine the actual process of leading and to consider ways of refining their delivery. The resulting conversations provided a much needed point of departure from old patterns, and set a course for future paradigms to emerge.
What is musical leadership?

An orchestra is a wonderful metaphor for a company. For the music to sound sweet we need to listen, to give each other space, to provide the backbone of the music, to listen to the unique solo. We provide exercises, which encourage a conversation between management and staff, from one department to another and to look at how we can be fully “present” as leaders.
Mind, Body and Soul
- Now, more than ever, leaders need to walk their talk. This demands self – awareness, empathy and humility as prerequisites to effective action.

- Mind: through the practice of Presence, we suspend our preconceived attitudes, and let go of outmoded behaviours. This allows for new insights to emerge, along with a roadmap for future action
- Body: experiential arts based sessions embody key learning points, encouraging a fresh sense of self which acts as a springboard to sustainable change.
- Soul: the more we develop ourselves, the clearer the ‘big picture’ becomes.
